Jules and the kids headed off for a week's camping this morning and I'll join them on Tuesday night. They were due to take the tent but at the last minute Jules decided to book a cabin and I think he was wise as the weather forecast is not great. Our friends John & Leanne are camping at the same place along with 2 of Leanne's cousins so there are a ton of kids to hang around with and when Jules phoned me this afternoon to report their safe arrival he advised that I bring lots of books as he hadn't seen the kids since arriving and is now envisaging lots of sitting around reading books whilst the kids run around like mad things!
Tom reported an accident at kindy this week where he crashed into the back of a girl whilst pushing a pram at full speed and made her cry. When I asked how it was an accident he explained "she wasn't looking where I was going".
Happy 60th Birthday to my dad for last Friday! He is now 10 times the age of his oldest grandchild - I wonder how that feels?!
