The gala day was a lot of fun and Tess' team all seemed to really enjoy themselves. It was good practice as they're currently second on the ladder and it looks like they'll make the semi-finals. A huge turnaround from being near the bottom of the ladder for the first couple of games!

For his birthday Jules bought himself an Orca wetsuit which is specifically designed for swimming. On Sunday afternoon he and Tom went down to Manly to try it out. Tom took his nipper board and acted as water safety whilst they swam from Manly to Shelley Beach.
I've mentioned before how Jules' work colleagues tease him about looking like Daniel Craig as James Bond. On the Friday before his birthday he found the following photo on his office door.
