Baked out!

Tess' four birthday parties are over and I might not bake again until sometime next year.  They were all a huge success and Tess received some lovely presents so thank you to everyone.  Her last party was on Saturday night with the Jamiesons, Mennies and Reids.  We played pass-the-parcel, musical statues, the smartie game (you have a straw and 1 minute to transfer as many smarties as possible from one bowl to another) and a treasure hunt.  There weren't too many tears and an awful lot of sugar was consumed!  Here's a picture of Tess as a grown-up 5 year old wearing her very special party dress!

We've had the most spectacular weather this weekend with temperatures up around 33 degrees.  Jules had a race on Sunday with some strong winds - he came second over the line so we're waiting to hear where they came overall.

Tom is not to be left out.  He had his first dress up at kindy last week and I was in a mad panic as he's never shown much interest.  I made him and his best mate superhero capes with their initials and lots of stars.  His best mate's mum bought them both Superman outfits and that was the end of the homemade cape.  Jules informed me that clothes your mum makes aren't cool - who knew?!  Here's a picture of our little superman.
