We always knew she was clever! Tess had her kindy graduation this week and her teachers got rather carried away making gowns and hats for the children to wear - we were slightly disappointed that they didn't all throw them up in the air. Tess has been at her kindy for over 3 years so moving away is a big step and she's been with her current teachers and some of her class mates for almost 2 years. The children did some songs and dancing and were then handed certificates and a "report" which was obviously glowing!
We've spent a relatively quiet weekend ie no entertaining but we've been busy little bees getting the house ready for Robert and Kat's arrival next weekend. We've finally managed to oil the deck which looks fantastic and we're hoping to have the pool fence fitted this week so that the kids will finally be able to use the garden unattended. The weather has been bizarre to say the least with temperatures around 18 degrees on Friday with the most unbelievable amount of rain, 35 degrees on Saturday with about 100% humidity and 25 degrees on Sunday with very strong winds. None of this has stopped Jules and the kids spending as much time in the pool as possible and Tom managed to jump in without any flotation devices but fortunately lived to tell the tale - bring on the pool fence!
