Packing!
The main focus of our weekend has been packing and getting ready for our trip to the UK. Tess' netball team had their last game of the season and it was fabulous. They dominated the field with fantastic basic skills and won the game but most importantly they had a huge amount of fun. We will really miss netball despite the 7 am start. The girls in her team are all gorgeous and they've had such a lovely time together - the best introduction to team sports. Tom had his last game of the season too and despite his asthma he really pushed himself, chasing the ball at breakneck speed and doing some amazing Italian-style saves by throwing himself on the ground!
In the evening we went round to Anthea and Matt's to watch the rugby - wallabies v all blacks - a disappointing game for the wallabies so I'll say no more. Tess stayed for a sleepover and for most of Sunday too. I had lunch with Robert which was lovely and then ran around like a headless chook trying to find passports, UK debit cards, rescue remedy (my fear of flying gets worse as I get older) and all sorts of toys to keep the kids entertained on the 24 hour flight (gulp!).
This time next week Jules will be comatose in a hotel in Bournemouth and I will be considering hitting Westfield London for a little bit of shopping!

Gah! We'll be in France next week, otherwise I'd have suggested meeting up with the children. What a shame!
You will have a great trip though, I'm sure. We are getting our own Westfield at the Olympic site, 5 mins tube from us, next month, which I am appropriately excited about.
Love the photo of Tess's team - great uniform!
