Today was Tess' horse riding party.  I took 6 very excited girls to Moore Park Riding Stables where they saddled up and headed off for a 1 hour walk around Centennial Park.  After a week of rain the sun finally came out and it was simply glorious.

I had planned a picnic lunch afterwards but because the ground was so wet I brought them back home instead.  After lunch and cake the girls played beautifully out in the garden and I made a mental note that I must get small groups of girls round more often as they're so much fun (and so easy compared to boys!).  

Tom started nippers this morning and whilst they were doing their activities on the beach they saw dolphins frolicking in the surf - I've never seen dolphins at Manly beach and can't believe I missed it!  Tom loved nippers and hopefully that continues - if he's going to be a surfer he needs to know about surf safety.
