The kids and I had a fantastic morning boogie boarding down at Manly beach.
Jules had a good week going with John Rumbold to watch Band of Horses who were brilliant as usual and then a stunning evening for the twilight on Friday - photo courtesy of Duncan who was at a local restaurant.
Saturday was Australia Day which we spent down at 40 Baskets beach with a load of other local families. Tess was unimpressed because she was the only girl but the rest of us had a great time!
The rain started on Sunday and it has been torrential ever since as we get the tail end of a cyclone that's done lots of damage up in Queensland. Steve Oxley arrived from England on Monday morning and spent the day with us prior to heading down to Melbourne. He was very unimpressed with the weather so we went out for lunch and then spent the afternoon playing Cluedo and Rummikub much to Tess' delight.
