I signed Tom up for drama classes given that one day he's surely going to be an entertainer of some sort! Tess decided that they looked like fun so she's also jumped on that bandwagon and Tuesday is suddenly a very busy day.
It's been netball, netball and more netball with the Grading sessions taking place on Friday and Saturday. Once a girl starts playing Under10 netball she gets graded and put in a team with players of a similar ability. Although I think it's a little young to be worrying about grading I do see the positives of playing with girls of the same standard. Tess played brilliantly during the grading (although let's face it, I know nothing about netball having never played myself) so we'll wait and see where she gets placed.
Tom had his last baseball game on Saturday. It was a beautiful morning and the boys were all well behaved sitting nicely on the bench and cheering on their team mates. Overall I think Tom has enjoyed his experience with baseball but we might try something different next year.
Sadly, Little Tom had gone to bed before I thought to get the camera out!
On Sunday evening Big Tom came over for dinner. He's in Sydney doing his graduate induction with Leightons and being put up in a very nice hotel in the City for the week. The kids were so thrilled to see him - Little Tom wanted to go and play tip in the garden, Tess wanted to show Tom all her tricks and Robert, Jules and I wanted to hear all his news so he was being pulled in all directions! It was brilliant to see him and we're hoping that his job may bring him over this way more often.
