Gingerbread housing

Given the general wonderfulness of the Thermomix Tess decided that she wanted to make a gingerbread house entirely from scratch this year.  With the help of Olivia they did an amazing job.

Tess is crossing her fingers that the house stays standing

It's clearly getting close to Christmas because we've had an incredibly busy weekend with a party every night.  Friday saw an impromptu drinks at my house which resulted in phoning for take away pizza - I think we got the order just right with just one piece left.

On Saturday evening Andrew and Marianne came over for dinner and a sleepover.  Can you believe how tall both girls are?

We also had Edgar for a sleepover and he and Ted had a fabulous time together.  It was a very warm day so we took them down to Sandy Bay for a swim - 2 very happy dogs.

The Christensens hosted a farewell party for the Watts on Sunday afternoon which ended up finishing far later than we thought.  The Thermomix was put to good use and Tess and I made some gorgeous watermelon canapés with whipped feta and walnuts - yum.

This is the 8 girls who spent a long weekend in Byron in October
