Tess and Tom on holidays

We have had one of those perfect school holiday weeks.  The weather has been amazing, everyone has felt really relaxed and we've all had a lot of fun.

We went to Bondi with the Rivers and Mitch to do the Bondi to Bronte walk.  We saw lots of whales, some of them very close up, admired the amazing houses on the cliff fronts, pigged out at Moo Burgers and enjoyed the sunshine.

Tom and Levi, a friend from school, caught up for a surf on Thursday.  Tom was nervous about hanging out with Levi because he's not previously spent much time with him.  Needless to say they both had a ball with near perfect surf for the 2 of them and Tom was amazed at how much they found to chat about.

We repeated the surf on Friday but added in Conner who knows Levi through nippers and who will be at the same school as Tom and Levi next year.  It was lovely to see the three of them together and I'm relieved that they're not too old to build sand castles!  The boys came back to our house after the beach and tried their hands at a spot of slack lining.  They got much better once they'd watched a YouTube video showing them how to do it!

They managed to stand up and walk about half the length of the line

Jules arrived back from the UK on Friday morning and headed straight down to the beach for a surf to help combat the jet lag.  He had a fantastic time catching up with family and friends and Kristie's 40th birthday party was a blast.

Tess caught up with Olivia Reid and I was so pleased to see the 2 of them together.  Old friends are important.
