Start of the school year

It's been heads down, bums up for the start of the school year with Tom in Year 8 and Tess in Year 10.  We all seem to have started the year exhausted which is not great but hopefully a bit of routine will sort us out.

Tom had Nipper Branch Carnival at Palm Beach this weekend.  There were tough conditions with very big waves and if it hadn't been an important carnival for qualifying for certain events at State Nippers I suspect it would have been cancelled.  Here he is with his mate Harry.  Tom was at the carnival from 6.30am until 2pm at which point I threw him in the car and drove him to his water polo game.  He was pretty tired on Sunday evening!
