Week one of the school holidays saw Lenka continuing with her recovery post op which has seen lots of warm baths and lying on the sofa watching Wimbledon. I took few days off work and stayed up at the farm with Tom. One of Tom's mates Harry caught a train to Lithgow where we picked him up and he joined us for a few days of cold fresh air (note the frost in the view from the farm at dawn). The boys had a ball on the bikes and running around. We had a couple of trips into Rylstone and Kandos to sample local culinary delights. One of these meals was a fantastic yum cha which felt very odd in a tiny country town in the middle of nowhere but it was excellent. Finished up the week back in Sydney by watching Tom's surf comp at QBC (first in heat but last in the final). Followed this with watching the Marlins lose to Eastwood followed by too many beers in Manly with the boys. A lazy Sunday followed with a rare whole of family walk up at Tania Park!
