We are having such a dreadful couple of weeks that I'm focusing on the small things and the joy they can bring.
* A winter's morning in Manly
* Tess making it to school for the whole day on Friday after 2 weeks off.
* A friend who is going through a very tough time coming round for a drink on Friday night and sitting with her chatting, crying, chatting, crying and a little bit of laughter.
* Receiving some unexpected photos taken at my father's 70th in October.
This is how I think of my Dad but it's rare to capture it - that's joy right there!
Possibly my favourite photo ever
* A dear friend's 50th birthday which we celebrated with a long bush walk followed by a much longer lunch at a beachside restaurant but only 10 of us allowed due to Covid.
The flowers prepared by some of the girls for the birthday lunch - small but so beautiful

Tom and Harry walked past the restaurant not knowing we were there. Jo is Harry's mum and therefore a second mum to Tom.
* A silly dog who was lucky enough to survive another operation and will soon be assessed for whether he should be put on Prozac!
And finally, Tom went fishing on the weekend and found this bench that some of Barney's friends have commemorated for him. It's in such a beautiful spot overlooking the ocean.
