Julia's 50th

Julia and Maggie came up to Sydney to celebrate Julia's 50th by seeing Hamilton which they are both fans of. On Thursday night we went out to dinner with Lisa to a lovely French restaurant in the City. I took Friday off work and we went to the Monet exhibition followed by lunch at The Grounds of Alexandria.

On Saturday evening Jules and I went out to dinner with Duncan and Bella. The two of them did the Ultra Trail in the Blue Mountains last weekend - 22km for Bella and 100km for Duncan! It was amazing to hear about their adventures and they were happy to finally allow themselves a glass of wine. 

Last weekend Jules and Craig headed up to the farm to try and mouse-proof it. NSW is in the middle of a dreadful mouse plague and the farm house has quite a few holes that the boys filled up.  Tom took his friend Charlie up with him and they had an excellent time on the bikes and spent one night sleeping in front of the fire as it got down to 1C at night.
