High Praise

Jules and Andrew had an extra spring in their step this week when Graham, sailing royalty (sorry but all the connections are lost on me), told the Manly Yacht Club Commodore that he "ranks Kia Kaha as the best performing, best sailed boat in the fleet". It was Christmas come early! Such high praise and also so well deserved. The boys love their boat and they work really hard to keep the crew engaged whilst sharing their sailing knowledge and having fun.

I've had a weekend of decadent lunches. Saturday was with the Watts, Christensens and Rivers to celebrate getting our eldest through high school. Sunday was another celebration of Bec's 50th. Two wonderful afternoons with excellent friends.

Tom likes sending me photos of him and his mates for the blog! This is Tom, Tom, Kalen and Harry chilling on Saturday evening.

Jules and Tom headed up to the farm on Sunday morning. They took the Prado so that Tom could do his first proper drive.

I've got 3 days of work left this year and I am limping to the end! The news with the new Omicron variant of coronavirus is not sounding good and we're keeping everything crossed that Christmas doesn't get cancelled for a second year in a row. We have very high vaccination rates in Australia (over 94%) but it's still not sounding good.
