A french dinner

Out of the 7 families that we're particularly close to, 5 of them got struck down by Covid this week. We remain completely Covid free despite Tom spending an entire day at school with a friend who tested positive when he got home that afternoon! We're either immune or we've had it and we were asymptomatic. Watch as I get it in time to disrupt all my birthday plans!

Last week I organised a birthday dinner with the Emmott Bennetts and this week we had dinner with the Rumbolds. I'm not a big one for parties but these smaller dinners have been such a joy. Leanne has wanted us to go to Bistro Boulevarde in Avalon for a very long time and I completely understand why. We were transported to France by the decor, the menu and the wine. It was the perfect dinner for a Francophile like me.

It continues to rain, Jules and I continue to work too hard and Tom continues to be on crutches. That's the catch up!
