Rae's last weekend

Another frantic week in the McPherson household and all too quickly Rae's last weekend arrived. We started with a typical Friday morning at our house - Leanne cooking up a storm (3 cakes no less!), Alayne dropping in very quickly for a cup of peppermint tea and Angie and Oscar coming by for a cooling swim. Jules took Rae out for the twilight on Friday night whilst I got the chance to catch up with Lisa whom I haven't seen properly in ages. Darcy decided not to sleep so I got lots of cuddles - hooray!

We had a relaxing Saturday morning eventually leaving the house for sushi and ice cream down in Manly. More relaxing in the afternoon and then Jules, Rae and I headed out for dinner at The Wharf restaurant (part of the Sydney Theatre Company). The setting was amazing and the food pretty good too!

Jules and Rae decided to head to the fish market on Sunday morning whilst the kids played on their scooters, balance bikes and skate board with Henry from next door. They invented a great game where the skate board was tied to one of the scooters and they took it in turns to pull each other along the pavement - a suggestion from me that they might want to wear helmets was met with much derision!
