The Jamos were here for the week and I took Monday and Wednesday off work to hang out with them and the kids. The weather was so glorious on Monday that we spent the day at Shelley Beach drinking coffee, eating sushi and playing in the sand. The picture is of Darcy and Tom. Tom loves Darcy and the feeling is reciprocated with Darcy calling Tom "Nom" which we think is a pretty good name for him!
Tess had netball on Saturday morning - you could tell that the girls had not played for a while and they played against a very strong team. Tess scored the only goal from the edge of the goal circle which earned her the player of the week award - she was very proud!
The kids had a big treat on Saturday with Robert and Claire taking them to see Disney on Ice followed by Fajitas and a viewing of Mamma Mia (Tom and Robert played rugby instead!) whilst Jules and I went out for dinner.
The kids and I vowed to have a pajama day on Sunday whilst Jules was sailing - no wind to start with but then a lovely sea breeze came up and they found themselves surrounded by a pod of dolphins! We stayed in our pjs until 4pm which I thought was impressive but the call of some fresh air got the better of us and we headed up to Tania Park for a run around.
