We did a day trip to the Jenolan Caves down a torturous winding road which had me swearing we'd only make the trip once in my life time however the caves were seriously impressive and I plan to go back. The village itself was a little odd, reminiscent of an alpine village rather than country NSW.
Given the cottage was on the same property as a large equestrian centre it would have been rude not to go riding and Tom was very excited as it was his first time. Tom, Tess, Hunter, Craig, Jules and myself saddled up one morning and went for a 1 hour trail ride through the beautiful countryside.
Parts of the Six-Foot Track ran close to the property so we walked a small part of it. Out of all the children 2 year old Darcy complained the least although Tess did carry her on her back for large parts of it!
