More dance for Tess
We had more dancing this week with Tess' dance concert for her out-of-school dance class. Her class did a Jazz routine to "I wanna be like you" and this was the outfit although once she was on stage I discovered that I'd put it on entirely the wrong way round and the hair tie was actually a front tie to create a "bikini" effect. Fortunately this was all rectified prior to her performance otherwise imagine the trouble I would have been in!
We attempted to have a quieter week after all our holidays. Tom had a "general exhaustion" day on Monday which suited me fine as I had some painting to do around the house and Tess had a similar day on Tuesday which didn't suit me as fine so she got dragged to my piano lesson and then a Thermomix demonstration. Luckily for Jules I don't really see where a Thermomix would fit in my life (they cost $2k) although Tess was almost convinced by the strawberry sorbet in 2 minutes!
I treated myself to a planning day on Friday. I got out the ruler, mechanical pencil, coloured pens and a rubber and draw up various "charts" for the holiday period when the McPherson/Whomsleys will be with us. At the moment I have 2 charts: "Christmas Food" and "Christmas Activities" and the days on both are filling up fast - suggestions/requests on an email please.
