The Old Post Office where we stayed
We spent the Easter weekend at Catherine Hill Bay which is a 1.5 hour drive up the coast and is known for it's excellent surfing. The surf was huge the first 2 days but we found a lovely sheltered beach called Toowoon Bay which had perfect waves for Tom and Jules. Tess and I spent hours playing bananagram which she is alarmingly good at.
To give Tess some respite from all that surfing we went to Treetops which is an adventure climbing centre set up amongst the trees. There are loads of flying foxes and different climbing areas. Tom, sadly, was too little to go on the main course but he still had fun on some smaller flying foxes. Tess has always loved climbing trees and she flew around the course only slowed down by older, less fit adults in front of her (and I'm not talking about Jules!).
