Scotland Island High Tea

In order to raise funds for the Shitbox Rally Leanne organised a Scotland Island High Tea with cake baking competitions and a community artwork to be painted and won.  It was a freezing day which I think helped draw in the crowds as the promise of a cup of tea/glass of champagne or Pimms and a slice of cake was the perfect antidote to the weather.  The event raised $1,000 which was a fantastic outcome.

During the week we had the school Cross Country event.  Tess and Tom did a grand total of 2 days practice and both did well coming comfortably mid-field.  Tom lost one of his shoes on the first lap but carried on regardless to the amusement of the spectators - only Tom!!
