Melbourne Cup

The general frivolities continued this week with the Melbourne Cup on Tuesday.  This year we attended a charity lunch at the Q-Station which was excellent and much better than simply having lunch for the sake of it.  I splashed out on a new dress which I love (thank you Lisa for persuading me to buy it!).

The weekend was full of sailing, board training, surfing and tennis as usual.

I bought myself a painting this week.  It was hanging on the wall of my kinesiologists consulting room and I couldn't get it out of my mind for a whole week so I phoned her and asked if it was for sale.  Luckily it was painted by her partner and he was happy to sell it to me.  I love it.
