Dads and kids camping weekend at The Basin

Friday night was Halloween which we celebrated with a party outside Bec's house whilst the kids trick or treated in nearby streets.

On Saturday Jules, Mike, Sheldon and Andrew took the 10 kids camping for a night at the Basin.  It was over 30 degrees when they left but a southerly came through later in the afternoon bringing quite a big thunderstorm which fortunately didn't last for very long.  They all had a fantastic time but were fairly exhausted - camping for 1 night is only just worth it I think.

Whilst the fathers were doing their bit Bec, Trudie, Kate and I went to Hugo's for lunch.  We arrived at 1pm and left just after 7pm.  I had my first espresso martini - it won't be my last!

Tom surfed Butterbox again this week.  I think this is one of the best photos I've ever taken.

He continues to love board training and it was glorious on Tuesday.  They paddled up and down Manly beach over and over again.
