Wild weather and long lunches

So the x-ray of Tom's wrist didn't show a break however he is still in a lot of pain 10 days after the accident so we're having an MRI next!

We had a week of incredibly wild weather.  It rained torrentially for 2 days solid whilst blowing an absolute gale.  It was about the best test of water proofing we could have had and the downstairs of the house proved itself to be completely watertight.

On Sunday morning Tess played soccer in the rain and we then watched Tom's rugby team play in the rain too.  Tom was itching to get on the field but obviously can't yet with his wrist.  Given the cold wintry weather we were very happy that the Watts had invited us round for a long lazy lunch which ended with some extremely fierce ping pong competitions between the adults.  I'm proud to say that Jules and I were undefeated as a couple - what a great skill to have ;)
