Jules got his bandages removed from his arm and an x-ray taken which shows the beautiful metal work. We were very surprised to discover that he is not being given a cast as apparently the metal does everything it needs to in terms of protecting the bone. I was a little alarmed when the surgeon mentioned that Jules can start driving within the next week or so if he feels comfortable. Jules only stopped driving for 3 days post the accident!!
Tom had his surf lesson on Monday and found a little, very smelly, friend.
Kate was over for one of her flying visits this week. Given we always go to Hugo's for dinner we decided to shake things up with dinner at Manly Pavilion instead. Kate was very happy to eat outside on the terrace overlooking the ocean as the UK has just suffered through arctic conditions due to "The Beast from the East". A perfect Sydney autumnal evening.
I found this instagram post of Tom's and wanted to share it here as it is very typical of him. He loves being part of a team and congratulating those around him. I'm hoping he might do some work on his rather random use of capital letters :)
