It's been a quieter week thank goodness. We met Tom's teachers on Tuesday and they all said what a good job he's doing and how well behaved he is in class. I don't think Tess' teachers have ever commented on behaviour so it must be a boy/girl thing!
Jules went deep sea fishing with a bunch of nipper dads on Saturday and caught a snapper. I was quietly relieved he didn't bring it home expecting me to gut and descale it.
On Saturday evening we had a house full. This particular group of friends is very good at "bringing a plate" so I sorted meat, fish, potatoes and dessert and left the nibbles and salads up to the others. To make life easier I suggested we follow a Moroccan theme and there were some fabulous salads involving cauliflower, carrot and sweet potato (not all together!).

The weather was glorious on Sunday and Tom, Jules and I spent the morning relaxing at the beach.
