Easter in the Southern Highlands

We spent Easter at a lovely big house in Canyonleigh with the Mennies.  It's been a while since we've been away with them and it was lovely to catch up.  The house was great but very remote and we struggled with finding enough to do especially as there was no wifi - the teenagers were horrified and we had to leave the house at least once a day so they could do their "streaks" on Snapchat.

We all went to the Burrawang Annual Markets on Saturday which were fantastic and the Bundanoon Makers Market which was small but sweet.  Lisa and I were more keen on the markets than the others!  Ted and Edgar loved spending the weekend together although Ted was scared of everything as usual and disappeared into the back of the Land Rover at every available opportunity - there was no danger we'd drive back home without him!  It was also a very hot weekend and the dogs and boys were happy they could cool off in the dam.

It was my birthday on Monday so we drove back to Sydney, spent the afternoon at the beach and then went out for dinner - a lovely day.
