After 6 weeks cruising around New Zealand and the Cook Islands, Grandpa Mark and Mandy stopped with us for another 2 nights before their flight back home. It was lovely to see them looking very relaxed and very tanned!
We once again had a fabulous evening out at Hugos but this time without the children. We were extremely lucky with the weather because we had been caught at lunchtime in a hail storm but the weather cleared and it was a beautiful evening.
Grandpa Mark and Mandy spent lots of time with me in the car whilst on my MUber duties (Mandy came up with that term - brilliant!) but we also fit in some shopping, swimming and coffee drinking whilst the kids were at school.
On the morning of their flight to the UK I took them on our local bush walk from Tania Park down to Forty Baskets and back home. The weather had turned a little grey but it was perfect for a walk to stretch the legs before that long flight.
