Winter hits Sydney

The temperatures plummeted on Saturday afternoon forcing everyone into jumpers and jackets.  The timing was typical as we had the parents from Tom's water polo team round for dinner and with 20 people in our house we needed to use the outdoor area.  I'm already missing Summer!

Tom and I saw the specialist to get his hand re X-rayed on Wednesday.  The specialist was keen to put it in a cast for 5 weeks "just in case" so we had to insist that we were 99% sure it's not broken.  Tom has been charged with being careful for the next couple of weeks so he waited until Saturday for his first surf and played water polo and surfed on Sunday.

Tom's summer metro water polo team.  Tom used to be one of the biggest in his team but is now one of the smallest although fortunately you can't tell from this angle!

Jo and I took the dogs for a long walk whilst Tom and Harry had a surf on Sunday afternoon.  I noticed that Harry has just overtaken Tom in height for the first time so we needed a picture.  Tom looks unimpressed!
