Sailing starts again

Sailing has now been included as an "allowed activity" and Manly Yacht Club are running a quick 4 week Sunday series.  Here's a fabulous photo of Oka who raced head-to-head with the other J24 in this picture but sadly got pipped at the post by just over 1 minute.  

Sunday morning started off grey and overcast as you can see below.  Tom is in the "ski" with the pink nose.  A ski is a very narrow boat type structure that you manoeuvre with a paddle and which looks impossible to balance on.  This was Tom's second go and he's doing well - he has great balance due to surfing.  

I decided I'd like to have a play with a bread machine and managed to find a friend with a spare one that she doesn't use.  This was my first loaf that was ready to eat when we woke up on Saturday morning and it was delicious.  I will do more playing but my initial thought is that a bread machine is not really necessary and I do have quite a few kitchen gadgets already!
