All aboard the scooter

We've just had our first week of all kids back at school in NSW and it feels like the lockdown is over. Afternoon activities are slowly returning to normal, the roads are getting busier, people are less mindful of the 1.5m social distancing measures.  I'm sad not to have the kids at home anymore but they're better off at school, particularly Tess who, for a 16 year old, has done remarkably well at pretending she likes her family over the past 8 weeks or so ;)

Jules got his full scooter licence during the week and Tom was desperate to ride pillion down to Manly over the weekend.

The surf was very large this week and Tom managed to crease his board in 2 places during his high performance class on Monday.  We drove around the northern beaches on Friday afternoon looking for a second hand board and finally found him another JS but the next size up (5"7') as he's growing fast!

I had a lovely late Sunday afternoon bush walk followed by a few glasses of wine with some girlfriends.
