It's been far too long between LaLa visits and I was delighted to have lunch on Scotland Island with Leanne and Angie on Friday. Leanne picked us up from the mainland and we jetted across Pittwater to her house on a glorious Spring day - so good for the soul.
Duncan and Bella came for an impromptu dinner on Saturday evening. They're doing as well as can be expected but still struggling to come to terms with their loss. Hopefully getting out of their house, even for a short time, was helpful.
Jules and Andrew did some more sailing on Sunday - just a potter around rather than a race. Kate and I did another bush walk followed by several glasses of chardonnay. Tom and Tess had a rare weekend with both of them at home - Tom because he's grounded and Tess because she's revising hard for her Year 11 exams and Grade 8 piano exam. It was lovely to have Tom's friends around playing endless games of Monopoly and eating me out of house and home.
Here's a photo of Ewan, Tom and Joe acting as ballast on Kia Kaha during the race last week.
