Losing control

I had a very enjoyable evening Gingerbread housing during the week with our annual group.  Our paths don't often cross now that the kids are all older so it's lovely to have these few hours together.

We had a rare moment with both kids at home on Sunday afternoon so made the most of it by putting the Christmas tree up.  Tess' boyfriend, Daniel, helped us too.  

School has finished for the year and the kids marked it in their own special ways with Tess getting a belly button piercing and Tom asking a friend to cut his hair in a bowl cut.  We have clearly lost all control but thank goodness both of these "decorations" are reversible ;)
