Tess had her year 12 formal on Thursday as well as "Pres" and "Afters" - such a palaver! Luckily she doesn't get too precious about it all and apart from getting fake finger nails and her make up done professionally she was quite low key. Her dress wasn't exactly what she wanted and I was worried about potential wardrobe malfunctions but apparently all went well on the night.
It was a close call, with Sydney experiencing 6 covid cases last week, but Tom flew out for Arnhem Land on Saturday morning with his school. Worst case scenario is that Sydney goes into lockdown and the boys have to camp out bush for 14 days - not a bad scenario in their eyes! The actual plan is to be there for 10 days visiting various aboriginal communities and learning more about aboriginal history and culture. Jules and I are very jealous.
It's been a wet and windy weekend but that didn't stop the Kia crew from having an exhilarating race on Sunday afternoon.
