More serious lockdown

Last week we had a lovely mild lockdown that didn't feel that much different to real life except we couldn't go out to restaurants. This week our cases have increased significantly thanks to the Delta variant and we have been placed in a much stricter lockdown. The weather has mirrored everyone's disappointment with cold temperatures and lots of rain. That hasn't stopped my girlfriends and I from exercising in pairs and covering far more steps than previously by having to do 1 on 1 walks rather than all being together.

Tom remains unaffected and is constantly out surfing regardless (that's allowed!). The surf has been big this week and he snapped his relatively new board which currently has him board-less, a situation we will need to work out how to fix!

Tess does not fair as well during lockdowns as she quickly feels isolated not being able to see her friends. Jules took her out on the scooter on Saturday and they got caught in a downpour which had them both soaked.

Jules has been going down for an early morning walk to Manly during the week and took this incredible photo.

Ted has been enjoying occasionally coming to work with me!
