I'm not sure what week of lockdown we are in but it's been a few and our numbers continue to climb so it's going to be a few more. Whilst playing family games on Friday night we realised Tom had nits so that gave us the ammunition to finally persuade him to cut his hair. It was agreed that Tess would do the deed as she was the least nervous. Tom was fairly gungho until the strip across the top of his head at which point he realised he was going to have very short hair.
Tess did such a great job that Jules persuaded her to do his the following morning.
It's been hard for Tess because the Year 12s are due to do their HSC trials next week. Other schools have delayed the trials by 2 weeks but Tess' school have decided to only delay them by 2 days. There's been a lot of uncertainty and the girls are all very anxious and struggling to maintain their focus. Here's Tess and Liv trying to do some study in between comfort eating and washing the cars!
Jules and Tom took Ted for a walk and a swim on Sunday morning.
It's Jules' birthday tomorrow (monday) but we have a subject selection evening for Tom's HSC subjects so we did birthday dinner on Sunday night instead. Note the 2 excellent haircuts!
