It's been a relatively quiet week for the McPhersons. Tom had a good week at kindy - no tears and he seems to be making friends with some of the other little boys. Tess had a good week at school although I have to say that I struggle keeping up with all the admin she brings home. It seems like every day there is a form that needs filling out, a survey that needs completing, a flyer for an educational product that we should buy as it would benefit the school - the list is endless. We had a proud parent moment this evening when Tess read us her weekly library book (with a little bit of assistance).
Mark and Caroline's twins had their first birthday party on Saturday afternoon. There were millions of children running around the backyard and Tess was very happy because she found two other 5 year old girls to hang out with. Tom is very amusing when he is trying to play with older children as he has discovered that if he pretends to be a pet dog they always let him join in their games so we frequently see Tom on his hands and knees crawling behind the big kids. He went one step further at Michael and Julia's on Sunday afternoon and managed to get a dog lead attached to him!
When I downloaded the photos from my camera this evening in order to find some for the blog I discovered that Tess had managed to get her hands on it and had taken a couple of charming self-portraits - watch out David Bailey!
