We've had the most glorious winter weather with beautiful clear blue skies so we've been spending as much time out of doors as possible. Tom and I hung out at Clontarf on Friday with Leanne and Alayne and Tom had a ball riding around on his bike. I channelled Leanne for the day and was fully prepared for all eventualities with my thermos of hot tea and china mug - the thermos was a last minute addition to my shopping cart during my last trip to Ikea and I am very pleased with it.
Jules spent all weekend working which wasn't much fun for him. Tom had soccer on Saturday and was due to be awarded the trophy except that after kicking the ball in the wrong direction he went into a big sulk and stood stock still in the middle of the pitch for the last 10 minutes of the game. I had a word with the coach and we're hoping he might be able to get the trophy next week!
John and Leanne came round for fondue (another reason I love winter) and we had a fantastic evening - our first one together since Fiji. I'm afraid my head still hurts so I'll keep this blog short and sweet!
