Girls get sporty whilst boys are at the farm

 3 generations of McPherson boys
Craig and John at The Globe
It's been a fantastic week with John spending lots of time working on the Mirror and doing my odd-jobs around the house.  The height of excitement for me was the installation of a heated towel rail in my en-suite - I have wanted one of those for such a long time!

On Thursday night John, Jules and Tom headed up to the farm with Craig, Hunter and Fletcher.  They took the rain with them which worked well for everyone as the farm is currently very dry.  They spent the weekend driving motorbikes and quad bikes, going on long bush walks and making the obligatory trip into Rylstone with a drink at The Globe.

Meanwhile Tess and I settled in for a boy-free weekend.  We had Olivia and Sarah round for a sleepover on Friday night and watched the movie "Girls just want to have fun".  It's got a very young Sarah Jessica Parker, Shannon Doherty and Helen Hunt in it but I understand why it was not a huge hit...............however, the girls loved it.

On Saturday Tess had tennis comp followed by 4 hours of netball where her new team got to play together for the first time.  On Sunday it was my term to play tennis with Robert.  We had a great game and Tess was a fantastic umpire.
