Kanimbla View

We went up to the Blue Mountains for the long weekend with the Watts, Rivers and Christensens and stayed in a lovely Eco-resort called Kanimbla View set on 20 acres of land.  I think it may have been called an Eco-resort due to it only having pit toilets but the commercial kitchen, tennis court and lots of open wood fires made putting up with those worthwhile.

Tess, Ruby, Issy, Sienna
Sarah, Issy and Ewan all celebrated their birthdays that weekend so I organised a big party afternoon with lots of silly games.  I think the favourite one was finding the safety pins in a bowl of rice whilst blind folded.

To celebrate Sarah's birthday Bec and I took the 4 big girls for a horse ride at Euroka which is a house we've stayed at a few times before.

The other part of our group did a bush walk into one of the valleys and took the funicular railway back out which the kids loved.

Bec, Kate and Trudie - great fun to go away with!
