Moving downstairs

June 13 and we're able to move downstairs.  We started on 15 December so that's exactly 6 months.  There are a few little things to finish like the laundry and the store room but we've moved all our things downstairs and have cleared up the upstairs ready for the second stage.  

We're loving the downstairs.  There are so many small details that I hadn't anticipated such as the way the light comes in the bedrooms and lounge all day long.  The downstairs always used to be cold and dark but no longer - the winter sun warms it beautifully and gives it a lovely light.  It's such a peaceful outlook with lots of greenery.  I've tried to show a few before shots but it's very hard to give an accurate picture.
