Newport Nipper Carnival

I've mentioned before how Tom has been working really hard all year on his swimming and general fitness and he's fully committed to nippers for the first time this year.  On Saturday it was the Newport Nippers Carnival on a very cold, wet, miserable day.  Tom came in the top 10 of his age group for every single event: individual board, individual swim, ironman and board relay.  Such an amazing achievement for him and he was really proud of himself.

The weather did not improve on Sunday and Tom's waterpolo team had to play in an outdoor swimming pool.  Luckily they're boys and they don't care!
