Tom's 12th birthday

Tom turned 12 on Saturday.  Although he's a "twelvie" he's promised he's not going to start grunting and spending all his time in his room!  He's been talking about going fishing for a couple of months now so we bought him and his mate Harry fishing rods.  I have visions of the two of them spending hours down at Forty Baskets fishing during the long summer holidays.  We will see.

I loved Tess' card.
For dinner we went to Chica Bonita for burritos.  There was almost a major upset when we discovered burritos are only on the lunch time menu but luckily Tom loved the carne fries he chose instead.  We came home and played quite a few rounds of table tennis in preparation for Christmas.

After board training on Thursday 4 of the nipper boys went out to dinner at the Wharf Bar.  This is the second time they've gone out to dinner together and they have such a good time.  These boys spend so much time together on the beach and in the water that it's lovely for them to have time to socialise.
