Piano exam

Tess had her grade 6 piano exam last week and for once she was quite positive about how it went and didn't seem too nervous.  As she is getting older I find I don't need to nag her that often to do her practice - it's such a relief when they start doing these things for their own satisfaction!

There's been a lot of rain this week and a lot of rainbows.  This one was taken up at Tania Park whilst I was walking Ted.

The surf has been big and Tom and Harry had an excellent time down at Manly on Sunday morning.  They were lucky that the sun shone for most of the time they were out in the water.

We had the annual nippers presentation afternoon on Sunday and Tom once again got the Gold Medal for basically being an awesome team player.  Sisi got the same award for her age group too.  They are lovely kids and it's nice that other people recognise that too.

Jo, Hilary and myself took the dogs for a long walk on Monday.  This photo was taken as we tied them up to a bench and crossed the road to get a coffee - they were all watching us keenly!
