Boys weekend at the farm

Harry, Joe, Tom and Ewan
Tom took his mates Harry, Ewan and Joe up to the farm for the weekend with Jules and Ewan's dad, Andrew.  The weather turned just before they headed up and it was cold and rainy but that didn't stop them from racing around on the motorbikes and having lots of adventures.  They had planned to swag out at Cape Craig on the Saturday night but after they'd set up their camp the rain really settled in so it was back to the farmhouse for them all where they played chess and sang along with Tom on the guitar.
 Setting up camp

Tess had 3 days back at school and Tom had 2 as we began the surprisingly quick road back to some level of normalcy following the coronavirus.

I spent 3 days working hard in the garden digging up the remaining bamboo roots - I was in a rush to get it done before the weather changed.  In the photo you can see my favourite power tool - I'd quite like one for slicing bread in the kitchen!
