The start of a run of birthdays

We have Bec, Tom and Kate's birthdays to celebrate this month.  We started with a girls dinner at Sake to celebrate Bec's.  

Bec with a "dragon egg" which has hot caramel poured over it so that it cracks.  Bec's facial expressions were almost as impressive as the egg!

It looks like a very empty restaurant but this was taken quite late...

The weekend was full of water polo for Tess and Tom, sailing for Jules and oiling more of the garden deck for me.  The fire pit area should be finished next week and then I can finally do a big reveal!  The weather really turned it on this weekend and I was lucky to spend 3 hours down at the beach on Sunday afternoon which made me feel like I'd had a mini holiday.  

We're thinking of all our UK family back in lockdown :(
