We picked up our new Prado on Friday. I haven't driven it yet but hopefully it will be a good practical car for many years to come.
It was Halloween on Saturday but a more subdued version because of the coronavirus. Tess and her friends got ready at our house and then went to a friend's house for a small party. Tom headed out with a couple of his friends to a local party at a random girl's house. It's hard keeping up with that one.
Tom had a job interview at Ben & Jerry's last weekend and got offered a job. Apparently his first shift went well. It's clear he's very motivated by the notion of earning money so is trying to get as many shifts as possible. Just as well as he seems to have an insatiable desire for expensive toys: surf boards, an electric bike, a new tinny... Although an electric bike would be useful for getting him to and from his shifts at Ben & Jerry's!
