Today was a momentous day because it was Tess' first day at school. She danced around the house this morning saying "I'm so grown-up now" and for the first time ever came and got dressed without making any fuss - long may that continue. At school we found Olivia already in the class room and the girls decided to do some puzzles together and that was it - I was dismissed! I was very proud of myself because I managed not to cry whilst dropping her off but at work someone asked me how the morning had gone and I burst into tears! When I arrived in the afternoon to pick her up I asked whether I should talk to her teacher to find out how her first day went, Tess said "You don't need to Mum, I'll tell you about it all at home". Apparently she loves her teacher and has made lots of new friends so it all sounds good.
