Wet weekend

The weather has been truly awful with torrential rain all weekend which is causing serious havoc with our roof - we have buckets catching leaks all round the sitting room - not a good look! Jules was lucky enough to spend the weekend sailing (he put his dry suit to good use) with an overnight race to Newcastle and back.

Rae and I stayed home with the kids trying to stop them from getting cabin fever. On Saturday Noah and Charlie came round with Leanne and we did lots of craft including origami and painting (a real treat for my kids as I can't really cope with the amount of mess painting makes!). On Sunday we took the kids to the Australian Museum to see the dinosaurs which is always a favourite and Julia kindly invited us round to her house for lunch afterwards. It's still raining now so I really think the only thing to do is crack open a bottle of wine and perhaps get stuck into a game of Bananagram. I'm afraid I don't have any photos to post - I'll try harder next week.
